1.
How many lucky breaks does it take 'til it's broken? How many knocks on wood 'til your knuckles open? And with your final breath As you bleed to death You scream, "Oh God, why me?" 'Cause you're meaningless in the scheme of things You're a fucking nobody How many drunken drives 'til they're dragging the river? How many of your nine lives are gonna die with your liver? And in your hospital bed You'll be turning red Screaming, "Dear God, why me?!" 'Cause you're meaningless in the scheme of things You're a fucking nobody
2.
With a heaving chest and a pounding head (I'm alternating) Between feeling glad to be alive and wishing I was dead Sleepless and stuck in bed (Medicating) I let the phone lie next to me And listen to her cry again Bottoms up 'til we bottomed out Spinning tires on the icy ground My best defense Would not convince A jury of my closest friends Wish I could tell you why I'm worth your time But I won't lie again I comfort myself with excuses Try to pretend that they're not useless Try to forget I've already used them a thousand times And a thousand more each time I do this I do this again Pacing circles in the snow Waiting for the cops to show My best defense Would not convince A jury of my closest friends Wish I could tell you why I'm worth your time But I won't lie again "No regrets" Well that makes no fucking sense 'Cause if I could do it all over again I wouldn't "No regrets" Well that makes no fucking sense 'Cause if I could do it all over again I wouldn't I wouldn't... I wouldn't... My best defense Would not convince A jury of my closest friends Wish I could tell you why I'm worth your time But I won't lie again

about

These two songs are what we in the biz refer to as "b-sides." If we had a hit single or a Japanese-only release, these would be on them, but we don't have either of those, so here they are.

"Suck on Soil, Lounge Act" is a song we wrote this past summer based on a few lines of lyrics Zack had angrily scribbled in a notebook after an encounter with some dickhead (how emo!). It's about people who go through life believing they're entitled to some level of respect that no one else deserves. The title is from "The Adventures of Pete & Pete," the best show ever on television.

"I Thought You Liked to Rock" is one of the first songs we ever wrote, but we left it off of our full-length because it just didn't seem to fit the flow of the record. Still, we always liked the song, so we decided to put it out. It's about a particularly shitty decision that culminated in a particularly shitty ending.

Thanks for listening!
